The School provides highly efficient coaching to the students according to the syllabus prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board. The objective of the curriculum is to fully develop Student’s individual potentialities rather than to confine him/her to books alone.
The medium of instruction is English but very special emphasis is given to Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit together with the essential subjects:- Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Environmental Science, Physical and Health Education, Art Education, Value Education, Work Experience, Dance, Music, Yoga & Taekwondo. The school has well-equipped laboratories for science, modern Computer Lab and library to allow the pupils to develop and foster their innate talents and keep abreast with the modern education from the very beginning.
The School lays a great deal of stress on character formation and development of spiritual and ethical values which are imparted regularly to students through the teaching of Personality Development. The Social Service League actively encourages students to help generating the spirit of “Service to Humankind” and enhance the love for socially useful and productive work.
To ensure maximum participation and to inculcate leadership qualities and team spirit among students they are divided into 4 houses, Mount Carmel, Chavara, Avila and Lisieux. This house system fosters in students the sense of healthy competition, co-operation, active participation and collective responsibility. Co-Curricular and Extra curricular activities like Taekwando, Karate, Classical Dance, Music, School Band and Yoga meet the requirements of the students. The school has adequate facility for Athletics, Cricket, Football, Volley Ball, Handball, Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Chess and Other indoor and outdoor games.
Literary and cultural competitions – Quiz, Elocution, Extempory speech, Drawing and Painting, Fancy Dress, Recitation, Story telling, Flower arrangement , Rangoli, Singing and Dance are conducted regularly. In order to convey the message that India is one from “Kashmir to Kanyakumari” , the school celebrates national and state festivals in the school.
One day picnic is organized for all the students to different places. It unravels the mystery of many unknown facts of history to them. It also helps in enriching their treasure of knowledge.
The Social service club is very active in the school. Every year the school spends a good amount of money towards marriage expenses of the poor girls, hospital expenses of the patients and orphanage visits etc.
Different programmes are organized to enlighten the teachers and students in spiritual and temporal matters, Help from competent persons are also made available. The teachers have ample opportunities to be more equipped in subjects they handle through various refresher courses arranged by the Government education department. Apart from this, they are also encouraged by the institutional authorities to participate in the programmes conducted in various centres by different agencies.
